The places of interest that we will visit during our Gate of Heaven Full Day Tour

The Gate of Heaven Full Day Tour, which lasts about 10-12 hours, is one of our favorite Bali tour package. On this tour, you will visit Lempuyang Temple, Tirta Gangga, Taman Ujung and Candidasa.

Lempuyang Temple

Lempuyang Temple is one of the most popular Bali Places of Interest believed to predate the majority of Hindu temples on the island. Definitely a highlight on any travel itinerary for the fit and adventurous, the main temple lies at 1,175m above sea level, up on the peak of the namesake Mount Lempuyang in East Bali. The heights are reachable via a steep staircase of over 1,700 steps, with attractions along the way including several other temples and hordes of grey long-tailed macaques that inhabit the surrounding cool mountain forests.

Tirta Gangga

The Tirta Gangga water palace was built in 1948 by the King of Karangasem, Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem. Tirta gangga water palace is a maze of pools and fountains surrounded by a lush garden and stone carvings and statues. The one hectare complex was built in 1946 by the late king of karangsem but was destroyed almost entirely by the eruption of nearby mount agung in 1963. It has been lovingly re-built and restored and has an air of authentic royal magnificence. The centrepiece of the palace is an eleven tiered fountain and there are many beautiful carvings and statues adorning the gardens.

Taman Ujung

Ujung Water Palace (Taman Ujung) is formerly a palace in Karangasem, Bali. Now, this palace also known as Ujung Park or Sukasada Park. It is located approximately 5 kilometres from Amlapura. In the Dutch East Indies era, this place known by the name Waterpaleis. The palace three large pools. In the middle of the pool, there is the main building named Gili Bale, connected to the edge of the pool by bridge.

Candidasa

Candidasa is one of the most popular beach resort along Bali’s east coast. It’s where you can enjoy a quiet seaside escape, far from the crowds and busier traffic scenes of the island’s south. The main road of Jalan Raya Candidasa runs parallel the shoreline, lined with varying accommodation from basic hotels to five-star resorts. There’s a host of good shops, bars and restaurants in between. The beach itself features a sequence of sandy shores and breakwaters.

The tour we provide is based on private tours, so we offer two prices you can choose from, which consist of regular tour prices and inclusive tour prices. Please see the details below of both tour package prices.

• Note: Entrance fee and lunch are not included.

Inclusive tour prices

• IDR 400.000/ person
• Inclusions: Private car/ minibus/ bus + petrol + English speaking driver + entrance fee + Indonesian food lunch + mineral water
• Note: A minimum booking of two people is required.
